Experience 30 MINUTES of Elephant Short Ride at the best elephant park in Bali. The Mason Elephant Park was founded in 1997 in the foggy hinterlands of Ubud in response to the tragic situation in Sumatra, where excessive deforestation and poaching have decimated the local elephant population. Our award-winning park is Bali’s only dedicated elephant rescue facility, with 32 critically endangered Sumatran elephants, six of whom were born here. The park gives visitors with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with and learn about these gentle giants, while also providing a pleasant and secure home for our healthy herd.The park is spread out over 4 hectares and has been meticulously designed to resemble our elephants’ natural Sumatra environment.
